DESCRIPTION:A 13-week fire academy that prepares you for certification testing. Want to become a certified firefighter through a real academy? 4 courses\, 13 weeks\, 1 mission. Register Today! Flexible Schedule\, payment plans\, no reason not to become the hero your community deserves. This is a State Firefighters’ and Fire Marshalls’ accepted training course designed to meet the standards of at least NFPA 1001\, 1010\, and 470 among others. This is the start of the pathway to Texas Commission on Fire Protection basic structural firefighting reciprocity certification (for TCFP you must also have medical training to at least Emergency Medical Responder). \nThis course prepares you to either Test SFFMA firefighter certification or TCFP firefighter certification. This hybrid course meets Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6p-10p and every other Saturday 8a-4p. Graduation from this course is scheduled for April 17th\, 2027. Start the new year right and become the firefighter your community deserves and start a career you can be proud of! The flexible schedule allows those who always wanted to become firefighters and never had the time do to work\, to now make the time!
